A first batch of rare diseases selected as starting candidates for building the multi-modal datasets needed to train AI diagnostic tools for non-expert clinicians, chosen using criteria that combine patient-benefit considerations (diagnostic delay, actionability, ease of confirmation) with feasibility of AI signal detection, and intended as the opening step of a framework we aim to extend to all rare diseases.
