Geodata 4 Health (ESIP)

Goal

Develop data standards for linking geospatial data and clinical data for public health applications. Major objectives include developing "environmental CDEs" and geolocation data standards.

Status

Active ESIP collaboration area. Meets monthly via Zoom and at ESIP meetings biannually (January and July). Resources include a Google Drive, web page, mailing list, Zoom room, and Slack channel in the ESIP workspace — all managed by ESIP.

At the last ESIP meeting, the group held a work-a-thon to brainstorm requirements for environmental CDEs.

Origin

The need for geolocation data standards in CLAD is what first inspired the creation of this collaboration area.
